Delphine Bosson-Rieutort

Assistant professor ESPUM - DGEPS // CReSP // CIRANO

With a Master’s degree in Environment-Health and a Ph.D. in Models, Methods and Algorithms for Health and Biology from Grenoble Alpes University (France, 2015), Delphine is specialized in the development of innovative methods and algorithms for the analysis of health databases. Through her research projects, she has worked for the optimal use of different types of databases (epidemiological, toxicological, clinical and administrative), in order to highlight statistical signals related to the workers’ health.

As an Assistant Professor at the University of Montreal since 2019, teaching data management and research methodology, Delphine is a researcher at the CReSP (Centre de recherche en santé publique) and at the CIRANO (Centre interuniversitaire de recherche en analyse des organisations). She is a member of the executive commitee of the RQSPAL (research network on palliative care and end-of-life). Delphine had also the opportunity to work during 2 years in close partnership with the National Institute of Excellence in Health and Social Services (INESSS) as an affiliate scientist, within the Information Management team.

Her research project aims to contribute to efficient use of Quebec administrative health databases to better understand healthcare utilization and organization, as well as to develop decision-making tools based on administrative health data.

Juliette Duc

Ph.D candidate, ESPUM - DGEPS // CReSP // CIRANO

Juliette has earned a master’s degree in environmental health from Université Grenoble Alpes, France. Following a year in a master's program focusing on health services’ administration at Université de Montréal, she progressed to a fast-track PhD.

She is currently a doctoral candidate in public health, specializing in Health Systems, Organizations, and Policies. Her doctoral research, supervised by Pre. Delphine Bosson-Rieutort and Pr. David Buckeridge (Mc Gill), aims to analyze interregional variations in needs, access and healthcare utilization among aging individuals in Quebec, using machine learning and spatial analysis methods.

Alongside her studies, Juliette works as a research assistant, contributing to projects that focus on environmental health (Marc-André Verner) and the application of process mining in tracking the long-COVID evolution (Simon Rousseau and Delphine Bosson-Rieutort). Juliette also participates as a teaching assistant at Université de Montréal and serves as an assistant representative in her department.
